Researchers at Cleveland State University have developed a video series focused on the psychology of language, with presentations by APS Past President Susan Goldin-Meadow and others.
Susan Goldin-Meadow begins her 1-year term as President, and Suparna Rajaram becomes President-Elect. C. Randy Gallistel transitions to immediate Past President while APS Fellow Deanna M. Barch and Simine Vazire join the Board for 3-year terms.
The award is named after David Rumelhart, known for his contributions to the formal analysis of human cognition. Gopnik (shown with her grandchild): “The reason I study children is to try to make very general discoveries about how the mind works.”
