The APA-USNC International Travel and Mentoring Program for US scholars announces a call for applications to attend the 30th International Congress of Psychology held in Cape Town, South Africa from July 22-27, 2012.
Student – Early Career Applicants
The APA-USNC program will award up to 16 $1,500 awards (travel and registration) awards to students and early career psychologists. Awardees will participate in the APA-USNC International Congress program, which includes networking and mentoring activities prior, during and after the Congress in support of enhanced international research and scholarly collaboration.
Eligibility: applicants must be graduate students in psychology or early career (0-10 years post-doc) psychologists, whose research is in areas supported by the National Science Foundation.
Deadline: 1 December 2011, with notification by 15 January 2012.

The APA-USNC program anticipates awarding up to 10 $1,000 awards (travel and registration) to mid- and later career psychologists to attend the ICP2012 Congress and serve as mentors before, during and after the Congress period.
Eligibility: applicants must be psychologists whose research is in areas supported by the National Science Foundation, and who have experience in attending international scientific meetings. Applicants must be willing to serve as mentors and to donate time to interact with mentee(s) prior to, during, and following the ICP2012.
Deadline: 1 December, 2011, with notification by 15 January 2012.
