The 2026 APS Annual Convention will be held at the Centro de Convenciones Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB) in Barcelona, Spain on 28-30 May 2026.

The venue is located in the Barcelona district of Sant Martí, in the new technological and entrepreneurship area of 22@, in the Diagonal Mar area and next to Poblenou. It’s 500 meters from the beach, 6 km from Barcelona’s historic center, and 22 km from the airport, offering seamless connections by road and public transport.

The CCIB is a convention center and does not offer on-site hotel accommodations. To assist attendees, APS has negotiated special discounted rates at nearby hotels, which can be found on the Reserve Your Room webpage.

  • Metro: El Maresme | Fòrum (L4, yellow line) is less than a 5‑minute walk from the Fòrum exit via Rambla Prim.
  • Tram: T4 line to the “Fòrum” stop, directly in front of the CCIB Forum Auditorium.
  • Bus: Extensive network with convenient routes from major hubs—e.g., H16 from Plaça Catalunya; combinations from Sants Station (H10+7 / H8+7) and line 7 from Plaça Catalunya.

  • By car/motorcycle: Recommended access via Taulat Street or Avinguda Diagonal; look for parking in the immediate area.
  • Taxi ranks: Taulat Street (opposite AC Hotel) and Josep Pla Street (opposite Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona).
  • Airport: Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport is 20 km away, connected by train, metro, bus, and taxi into the city center.

  • Entrances: Four access doors (A, B, C, D), plus an underground connecting walkway leading to the Auditorium.
  • Reserved Spaces: The CCIB Forum Auditorium has 12 wheelchair spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility.
  • Companions: Each wheelchair space includes an adjoining seat for a companion.
  • Lifts and Access: The Fòrum CCIB Auditorium is equipped with several lifts providing access to both stalls and balcony areas.
    • The venue entrance is at street level, with no physical barriers.
    • Wheelchair-reserved seats are located on the same level as the hall, requiring no stairs or ramps.
  • Guide Dogs: Accredited guide dogs are welcome and may accompany their owners inside the building.
