2024 APS Presidential Roundtable: Strengthening Ties Between Academic and Private Sector Psychological Science

Friday, May 24, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Continental 7-8

In 2023, the Association for Psychological Science (APS) launched the Presidential Roundtable. The Roundtable is convened during the APS Annual Convention and is an opportunity for invited attendees to participate in discussions shaping the future of APS and the discipline. The 2024 APS Presidential Roundtable will consider opportunities for building connections between academic and private sector psychological scientists, including those who are employed in health, technology, research administration, consulting, and science communication.

To ensure that we have an opportunity to hear from a diversity of scientific perspectives and to ensure that all participants have an opportunity to participate in open dialogue, participation in this discussion is by invitation-only. All invitations are non-transferable. There is no charge to participate in the Roundtable, but convention registration is required.

Recommendations generated during this session will be further explored with APS members.
