Poster Creation and Upload Guidelines

Congratulations on having your poster accepted for the 2025 APS Global Psychological Science Summit! 

We’re excited to showcase your work to a global audience of psychological scientists! 

On Demand Poster Access 

To support global participation, all posters will be available on-demand throughout the 2025 APS Global Psychological Science Summit event days, October 21-23, 2025. Poster presentations are not scheduled or presented live, but rather available for attendees and fellow presenters to view and engage within the online platform.

Global Summit attendees will be able to view posters and interact with your poster presentation at any time. Attendees can leave comments or questions via text chat, and you can reply at your convenience.  

Attendees are encouraged to view posters during scheduled Networking Hours in the program schedule. Please view the full event schedule on the Program-at-a-Glance webpage, along with Plenary Sessions information on the Featured Speakers webpage. 

Creating Your Poster 

Please review the below information before creating your poster presentation. As a reminder, posters are not scheduled or presented live, but rather available to view and engage within the online platform throughout all event days. 

How to Create an Engaging & Accessible Poster: 

  • Include tables, graphs, photographs, and large-print text 
  • Design in landscape orientation, ideally 36 x 48 in (91.44 cm x 121.92 cm, 914.40 x 1219.20 mm) 
  • You may create and include a YouTube video or PowerPoint presentation of your poster presentation as well. 

Accepted Poster Upload Formats:

The maximum file size is 100 MB across all formats.

Why Include a Video? 

Including a short video walkthrough of your poster presentation is a powerful way to bring your research to life and connect more meaningfully with attendees. This is your chance to bring your research to life and connect more deeply with attendees.

Benefits of Adding a Video: 

  • Explain your findings in your own voice, adding clarity and context beyond the static poster. 
  • Increase visibility among attendees browsing the APS Global Summit Event platform, especially those who prefer audiovisual content. 
  • Make a lasting impression by showcasing your enthusiasm and expertise. 
  • Provide an accessible format for attendees who benefit from auditory explanations. 

Videos must be hosted on YouTube and should only include content from your poster presentation. Please check out these Tips from YouTube to help you create your YouTube video.

Upload Instructions 

In order for your poster presentation to be viewed by attendees and fellow presenters, the presenting author must upload the poster presentation to the APS Global Summit event platform.  

Poster upload instructions and upload links have been sent as of September 30, 2025 from [email protected]. If you haven’t received the email, please check your spam folder. For any questions about poster uploads, please contact [email protected].

Presenters must upload their posters to the 2025 Global Summit Online Platform by Friday, October 17, 2025, at 5:00 PM EDT (21:00 UTC).

Registration and Event Platform Access 

All participants must register and pay the appropriate registration fee to access the APS Global Summit event platform. The APS Global Summit event platform will open to registered attendees on Monday, October 20, 2025.
