Interactive Mobile App Features:

  • Browse by Day – See all sessions scheduled for each day of the convention.
  • Browse by Program Type – Filter sessions by format (e.g. symposia, posters, workshops).
  • Search by Theme (New for 2026!) – Sessions have been categorized into themes using a Large Language Model (LLM), making it easier to find content aligned with your research interests.
  • Search Speakers – Access profiles of all invited and submitted speakers.
  • Sponsors & Exhibitors – View a full list of participating exhibitors and sponsors.
  • Floor Plans – Navigate the Centro de Convenciones Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB) with detailed floor plans.
  • Game – Play the APS 2026 game with your fellow attendees. Learn more here.
  • Social Wall – This feature in the app is a great way to interact with fellow attendees. You can post your research, engage in discussions, and “like” or comment on others’ posts.
  • Notifications – Stay up to date with Convention announcements and any changes to sessions or scheduling.
  • Search (Top Right Corner) – Find sessions, speakers, or topics by typing any keywords into the Search bar. You may filter by: Time, Day, Type, Is Poster?, Program, Index Terms, Themes. Filters can be applied with or without a search term to help narrow results.

Personalized Mobile App Features (Log In Required):

To access personalized features, click Sign In in the left-hand navigation menu and enter your email address. If you’re new to the Mobile App and Online Program, you will be prompted to create a free account. If you’ve signed in before, you will be asked to enter your password.

  • My Schedule – Log in to create and save a personal schedule. Download your schedule as an ICS file (compatible with Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple Calendar) or as an Excel spreadsheet, or print it directly.
    • Note: Your schedule is a planning tool only and does not register you for sessions. Entry is first-come, first-served.
  • My Favorites – Save Invited sessions, Symposia, Submitted Talks, Flash Talks, and Posters to a personal favorites list for quick access.
  • My Contacts – Save and manage connections with other attendees, send direct messages, and manage connection requests.
