Is There a Cognitive Bilingual Advantage for Curiosity ?

Keyword: Attention and DistractionAbstract: This paper will report an ongoing study testing curiosity in monolingual and bilingual children. Two tasks will be administered, each testing a dimension of curiosity: amibiguity reduction by sampling and explore/exploit strategies. It is predicted that bilinguals will outperform monolinguals on both tasks.
