Posters
Keyword: Decision MakingAbstract: We examined whether adding an undesirable but improbable alternative changes threat evaluations across temporal distance. A pilot study validated the stimuli, followed by a main experiment (N = 111). While the hypothesized interaction was not supported, temporal distance manipulation was effective. This confirmed the effectiveness of psychological distance in evaluation.
