Keyword: Epidemics and Public HealthAbstract: This study examined how income and education predict coping self-efficacy (CSE) in residential mental health treatment. Income, but not education, significantly predicted baseline and mid-treatment CSE. Higher education was associated with smaller CSE gains. Findings suggest income plays a stronger role than education in coping skill development during treatment.
