Language Preference and Moral Decision Making: The Role of Emotional Resonance

Keyword: Decision MakingAbstract: This experimental study (N=100 young adults) intends to test whether language affects moral decision making. It is hypothesized that scenarios presented in the less preferred language will result in more utilitarian decisions mediated by emotional resonance. The findings will have implications for different stakeholders in diverse contexts.
