Keyword: Behavioral EconomicsAbstract: The Research Domain Criteria (RDoC) framework underrepresents the domain of arousal. In the present lab-market study of asset-price bubbles, an excessive-demand measure, designed to tap into anticipatory arousal, explained 34.5% of asset price variance, suggesting that the RDoC could be extended to include this lab asset-market paradigm’s assessment of arousal.
