Keyword: Life StagesAbstract: This study examined age-related changes in hippocampal and amygdala subregion volumes in youth and how these trajectories vary by sex and socioeconomic status. Using high-resolution anatomical MRI and generalized additive models, we identified nonlinear and SES-moderated developmental patterns, with effects primarily emerging in females during sensitive developmental windows.
