Keyword: Family RelationshipsAbstract: We conducted in-depth semi-structured interviews with seven Chinese immigrant mothers from astronaut households, where their husbands were regularly away. Thematic analysis suggested multifaceted challenges, including barriers to access healthcare, cultural differences in postpartum customs, postpartum depression-like symptoms, concerns about children growing up away from their fathers.
