Keyword: PsychopathologyAbstract: In a bilingual population, thinking in East Asian languages (compared to English) led to a depressed individual perceived to be more likely to lose control under negative emotion, seek sensation, and not think before acting. With a typical English name, such individual was perceived to be less likely to persevere.
