Navigating the Global Summit Event Platform

Once in the Lobby, please take some time to explore the online platform.

We recommend starting on the Agenda page, which you access by clicking “Agenda” on the left-hand navigation.

The left-hand navigation is the best place to access all features of the APS Global Summit online platform, including:

• Lobby – Main landing page.
• Agenda – The Agenda feature is a central place for attendees to access a schedule of sessions and add them to their personal agenda. Using the Agenda feature, attendees can review session details and related content, like speaker profiles.
• Subject Areas – Please find a full list of subject areas for the 2025 APS Global Summit in this feature.
• Attendees – Please use this feature to view and connect with fellow attendees.
• Announcements – Attendees will see a red indicator on the Announcements feature to let them know there’s a new announcement.
• Video Roundtables – Roundtable sessions are an opportunity for attendees to lead discussions on a particular topic with fellow attendees. Roundtable session presenters give a short presentation accompanied by slides (5-7 minutes), and lead a discussion with attendees. The entire session is scheduled for 45 minutes. 
• Speakers – The Speakers feature allows attendees to see who has contributed invited and submitted research to the 2025 APS Global Summit.
• FAQs – Please find answers to frequently asked questions about the 2025 APS Global Summit event platform and virtual event.
• Social Wall – The Social Wall is a social feed where attendees post and connect through pictures, comments, and “likes” in the event platform.
• Global Summit Game! – Play interactive games with your fellow attendees.
• Poster Features – All poster presentations are organized by subject area, with each subject area having its own dedicated feature in the event platform. There are 16 poster features, listed alphabetically for easy navigation:
