All speakers, participants, poster and roundtable presenters at the APS Global Psychological Science Summit must pay a registration fee – which is discounted for APS Members.

Please note that the APS Global Psychological Science Summit is a fully virtual summit, and you will need to register to present your research. 

The final agenda and program information will only be available to registered attendees in the event platform. The event platform will be live for registered attendees only on October 20, 2025.

The Call for Submissions is APS’s on-line portal for submitting research to be presented at the APS Global Psychological Science Summit. Submission types include posters and roundtables. All submissions will be presented virtually.

No, APS only accepts submissions via the online Call for Submissions. 

APS Membership is not required to submit, present, and author a submission or attend the APS Global Psychological Science Summit. However, being a member of APS offers you a significant discount on registration and directly benefits you and your career. Poster: Poster presentations will not be scheduled or presented live, but rather available for attendees and fellow presenters to view and engage within the online platform. Poster presenters will upload a PDF poster image to the online platform and may also include relevant websites and/or a YouTube video of the poster presentation.  

Roundtable session: The entire session will be scheduled for 45-minutes. Presenters should plan for a short presentation accompanied by slides (5-7 minutes), followed by a discussion with attendees.

If your poster was accepted for presentation at the 2025 APS Annual Convention but you were unable to present in-person, your poster will be automatically accepted for presentation in the 2025 APS Global Summit.

You must resubmit your poster presentation to the 2025 APS Global Summit Call for Submissions. The submission must be identical to what was submitted and reviewed for the 2025 APS Annual Convention. Within the submission form, you will be asked to include the original submission’s poster title and abstract ID below so we can verify your 2025 APS Annual Convention poster submission status.

APS Global Psychological Science Summit attendees will have opportunities to engage with each other in live chats during invited sessions, in submitted roundtable sessions, and via the chat functionality on posters. Attendees will also be able to view other Global Summit participants around the world and share contact information, schedule 1 on 1 meetings, and set up video chats through the platform. We hope to expand the networking and discussion opportunities in future Global Summits.

Please follow the below instructions to access your certificate of attendance. These certificates will be available to all attendees who have paid in full after the Global Summit ends on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

Step One: Please log in to the APS website using the email address and password you used to create your profile and purchase registration. 
  
Step Two: Select “My Profile” and proceed to the “Purchases” tab (it is the fourth tab to the right of Overview). 
  
Step Three: Under the “Purchases” tab, click on the “Events” label (it is the sixth one in the selection beginning with Recent Orders). There, you will see in the “Registered Events” section, the event you attended, featuring: “Event Name”, “Your Name”, “The Date You Registered”, “Event Start/End Date”, and a blue button named “Details”. 
  
Step Four: Select “Details” (blue button), and on the next page under “Event Attendees”, you will see a blue button titled ‘Download Certificate’. Click that button, and in the following prompt, press okay and download the certificate.   

To obtain a receipt for registration:  Open your APS profile and go to the purchase option to view, print, or resend your receipt. After the Global Summit, an online certificate will be available to registered attendees by accessing your APS member profile. 

Certificates of participation will be available to all roundtable and poster presenters on Friday, October 24, 2025. Presenters have already received a link to access the Speaker Center for their submission. Please check your spam folders if you did not receive this email. Presenting Authors are responsible for sharing the certificate with their fellow authors.

We are excited to announce the 2026 APS Annual Convention will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from May 28-30, 2026, at the International Barcelona Convention Center (CCIB). With its inspiring architecture and innovative heart, Barcelona is the perfect backdrop for our 2026 global gathering of psychological scientists. 

The APS Annual Convention is the international psychological science conference that features cutting-edge and integrative science symposia, posters, submitted talks, and flash talks from all areas of the field. The convention program also includes plenary sessions, methodological workshops, professional development opportunities for early-career scientists and students, networking, a teaching institute, and special, social events celebrating the culture of Barcelona and Spain.
