Serve for a year in the US federal government via this prestigious opportunity

Have a PhD in psychological science? Interested in shaping and developing policy? Then the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science & Technology Policy Fellowship (STPF) might be for you.

AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellows work to bridge the gap between science and policy, addressing societal challenges while sharpening communication and leadership skills. They serve yearlong assignments in either the executive, legislative, or judicial branch in the federal government in Washington, DC and apply their scientific background to policymaking.

Fellows receive a stipend of $80,000-$105,000, plus other benefits. Applicants should hold a doctoral level science degree or a master’s level engineering degree. For all eligibility requirements, click here. Approximately 250 Fellows are placed each year.
