ICPS 2023 will convene at the SQUARE – Brussels Convention Centre, situated on the imposing Mont des Arts with a broad vista over Brussels. SQUARE sits in the historical and cultural heart of the city, very close to the centre of European government. SQUARE is two steps away from the capital’s main transport hub, Central Station, which has a direct and fast train connection to Brussels Airport. Local train, tram, metro and bus lines all converge at Central Station, providing access to the entire city and rest of the country.

Arriving by Plane
Brussels has two international airports:
Brussels Airport
Leopoldlaan, 1930 Zaventem, Belgium
12 km (7.5 miles) northeast of Brussels
The SNBC train from Brussels-Airport-Zaventem to Brussels Central usually takes 20 minutes on average. The ICPS venue is located a short 5-minute walk from Brussels Central Station.
Charleroi Airport
Rue des Frères Wright 8, 6041 Charleroi, Belgium
46 km (29 miles), south of the city.
Coaches wait right outside the terminal to take visitors into the centre (€14.20/28.40 one way/return; 1½ hours).
Arriving by Train
Eurostar trains arrive in Brussels at the Bruxelles-Midi train station. The Bruxelles- Midi station is essentially in the city center. You can connect to Metro trains and taxis to get to your hotel or the ICPS venue from the Bruxelles-Midi station. The ICPS venue is located a short 5-minute walk from Brussels Central Station.
Public Transportation
Brussels’ public transport is operated by the Brussels Intermunicipal Transport Company (STIB-MIVB) and includes the train, tram, metro, bus and waterbus all of which accept the same tickets and passes. You can purchase individual tickets, or a Brussels Metro Travel Card, available in one day passes. The ICPS Venue is closest to the Brussels Central station.
Taxis
The taxis in Belgium’s capital are not as distinctive as other taxis in other parts of the world. Taxis come in all shapes and sizes without any markings on the car doors. There are many easily identifiable taxi stands on main streets, to make finding a taxi easier. All taxis should be metered and you do not need to tip, although rounding up to the nearest euro is appropriate.
