A Machine Learning Exploration of Early Handwriting Development

Abstract
This research aims to develop a novel machine learning tool to objectively identify letters and associated features that children have difficulty mastering as they learn to write. This longitudinal study characterizes typical development across new and established measures of handwriting fluency and proficiency in children in the early school years.
