PTSD Symptomology Is Potentially Mediated By Locus of Control

Results showed that those with a stronger internal locus of control had significantly lower scores on the PTSD checklist after reading a triggering passage. Understanding this relationship may aid the identification of high-risk individuals and the development of control-focused treatments that may help mitigate the severity of PTSD symptoms.
