Race-Related Words Influence the Perception of Race

The current studies investigates how race-related words effect the perception of biracial morphed faces. Across two studies, our results suggest that matching to “Black”, “African American”, “White” and “Caucasian” (study 1) and endorsing the amount that each label applies to a morph (study 2) changes participants’ perceptions of race.
