Not As Advertised: Alpha Isochronic Tones Have Contradictory Effects on Brainwave Entrainment and Stress

This study was the first to examine the effect of alpha isochronic tones on stress and absolute alpha band power. No significant difference was found between conditions in regards to stress reduction. Regarding alpha band power, significantly greater presence of absolute alpha was found in the absence of isochronic tones.
