Abstract
Given the common social practice of drinking, it’s valuable to identify mechanisms leading to problematic use. For social anxiety, alcohol use may be a means of coping. This project explores the role of maladaptive interpersonal emotion regulation in the link between social anxiety and alcohol use. Results to be discussed.
