The Relationship between Parent and Child Report of Stressful Life Events

The main objective of our study was to investigate how specific aspects of children’s stress perceptions correlated with parents’ perception of children’s adjustment to stressful life experiences. Therefore, we assessed the role of home environmental quality on parent-report of child stress, child stress perception, and child cognition.
