Abstract
Worldviews are beliefs and assumptions we have about reality (Kolko-Rivera, 2004). This study proposes using linguistic analysis to investigate the egocentric construal of semantic meaning through an open-ended worldview questionnaire. Using the paradigm of abstract and concrete language we can infer about the psychological closeness of certain philosophical worldview concepts.
