Abstract

The strength of the leader-follower relationship in LMX theory has profound impacts on many aspects of follower behavior. A leader’s willingness to go above and beyond on behalf of the follower positively correlates with follower job satisfaction, time for creativity, and self efficacy. Further implications are discussed.
