Abstract

Are Asian-American women negatively evaluated for displaying anger in the workplace? In comparison to their male counterparts, Asian-American women were perceived as less hireable when described as displaying anger but more hireable when neutral. Surprisingly, Caucasian women were perceived as more hireable than their male counterparts when expressing anger.
