Associations between Parenting and Error Monitoring Functions

To examine if parenting practices relate to error monitoring brain potentials, children reported on parenting perceptions and completed a flanker task to elicit ERPs. Results indicated that maternal parenting was associated with later error monitoring functions as indexed by the error positivity ERP.
