Abstract
Aloneliness - dissatisfaction from having insufficient solitude - is related to lower well-being. Study 1 found a positive correlation between trait aloneliness and anger. Study 2 then manipulated aloneliness through a writing task. Participants in the aloneliness condition (vs. control) reported higher anger subsequently.
