Abstract
This study tested a model examining the impact of maternal depression on mother-child relationship quality and the Child's internalizing symptoms later in life (age 16) in a sample of children who were maltreated or at risk. As hypothesized, maternal depression was a significant predictor of their child's internalizing symptoms.
