Uncertainty of the Pandemic Imprinted in Adolescents’ Spontaneous Thoughts of Future

How do the contextual changes with the pandemic impact the way adolescents think about their future? By content-analyzing adolescents’ expressions of their wishes and obstacles, we found an increase in words in subjunctive and tentative forms. This indicates a rising uncertainty towards the future and in themselves.
