Body Image Satisfaction, Disordered Eating, and Depression Among Female Bikini Competitors

Majority of research on bodybuilders has focused on physiological implications rather than mental health. It is still unknown how body image experience and disordered eating affects bodybuilders quality of life. We hypothesize that competitors experience more body image dissatisfaction and disordered eating, leading to more depressive symptoms than their counterparts.
