Abstract
Attentional control supports the development of self-regulation strategies such as problem-solving and help-seeking. This study explored group differences in self-regulation behaviors in relation to attention. Findings suggest that children who engaged in problem-solving behavior had lower attention regulation, which in the context of this study may be explained by persistence.
