Abstract
The study explores emerging adult bystanders’ qualitative reasoning around two hypothetical bias-based bullying behaviors and whether reasoning varies by behavior or victim’s social category (differences due to religion, race, and sexual orientation). Participants completed an anonymous online survey and responses were analyzed based on a Social Cognitive Domain Theory framework.
