Abstract

There is limited research examining emotion regulation in OCD. This study examined the relation between OCD symptoms and different aspects of emotion regulation in a clinical sample. Individuals with stronger OCD beliefs related to controlling their thoughts reported greater difficulties with impulse control, and understanding and managing their emotional experience.
