Abstract

Desirable responses to bad news are vital yet variable. Properly delivering bad news could significantly improve recipient quality of life. Thus, we propose developing a measure administered to news-recipients prior to receiving distressing information allowing news-givers to predict recipient reactions and appropriately guide them to the most desirable responses.
