The Effect of Credibility Heuristics on the Political Decisions of Older Adults in the African American Community

This study will examine the effects of the credibility heuristic on decision making of African Americans. Research shows older adults are more likely to rely on heuristics due to limited working memory capacity. We hypothesize that older adults will rely on an endorsement when information presented is difficult to understand.
