Abstract
Middle school students (N = 60; 34 females) reported their connection to adults at school, overall hope, and perceived efficacy of using positive coping strategies. Results suggest that hope is a significant moderator between adult-school connection and positive coping efficacy. Findings were most robust for students with low hope.
