Abstract
This study examines 160 participants who rated a leader’s effectiveness and likability when a leader expressed anger. Results show that participant race had a significant effect on perceived leadership effectiveness and likability. However, a leader’s characteristics did not influence outcome ratings. Practical implications are discussed.
