Abstract

Given conflicting research on the correlation between trait anxiety and risk taking, we conducted an online study on 162 undergraduate students using two trait anxiety measures and two risk-taking measures. The highest of the four correlations was only .07, suggesting that the correlation between these variables is very weak.
