HiTOP Detachment Predicts the Onset of Psychotic Disorders: A Preliminary Study

In a sample at clinical high risk for psychosis (n = 71), high rates of psychiatric comorbidity fit within three of the five HITOP spectra (internalizing, thought disorder, and detachment). Detachment was particularly insidious: it was associated with poorer cognition, functional impairment, and a higher rate of conversion to psychosis.
