Abstract
According to the Protection Motivation Theory, threat and coping appraisals are necessary to motivate people to change their behavior. This study will analyze threat appraisals of climate change through a 2 (white or person of color) by 2 (conditions) study design. We will run factorial ANOVAs, ANCOVAs, and t-tests.
