Abstract
Experiences of social marginalization were associated with heightened mental health symptoms among a nationwide sample of sexual minority adolescents (SMA). The effect of social marginalization on mental health was reduced among SMA reporting greater family support. Results underscore the protective effects of family on SMA mental health.
