Investigating How Tool Type and Knowledge Impact Performance

Abstract
This study examines how using tools and knowledge of task outcome impacts performance. By manipulating tool type and knowledge in a putting task, both perception and performance were altered. These findings suggest that actions involving tools should be tailored to fit each user, which has implications for all actions.
