Abstract

This study aims to examine the associations of gambling behaviors in online gaming/eSports with pathological gaming and gambling. Findings showed that 23.5% of 2,570 Chinese youths were identified as potential gamblers in online gaming/eSports. Indicators of gaming and gambling addiction significantly predicted higher likelihood of gambling in online gaming/eSports.
