Title: Distinct Influence of Maternal and Paternal Attachment in Recalling Family Conflicts

Present study examined whether maternal and paternal attachment differentially influence autobiographical recollection across gender. We focused on memories of a highly intense family conflict. and demonstrated that while maternal attachment anxiety and avoidance and psychological distance of events predicted reliving for females, only maternal avoidance was significant for males.
