Abstract
To measure the levels of psychological distress in Japanese youth, we asked participants to write imaginary narratives, and analyzed them following several linguistic indexes. Results showed that the youths with higher psychological distress wrote narratives with more positive (happiness-related) words than the lower psychological distress group.
