Satirical Headlines Feel Truer When Repeated Compared to Real Headlines.

Abstract
After being presented both satirical and real headlines, some previously seen two days earlier, participants were more likely to rate real headlines as truer than satirical headlines and previously seen headlines as truer than novel headlines. When repeated, satirical headlines increased more in “truth” than real headlines.
