Evaluation of a Mindfulness-Based Program for Elementary School Children: Perils and Pitfalls in a Time of COVID-19

Abstract
A wait-list control design was used to evaluate a 13-week school-based mindfulness program for children in a K-4 elementary school. Unanticipated challenges, including disruption of the program due to COVID-19 and challenges regarding reliability and validity of the Child and Adolescent Mindfulness Measure (CAMM-R) are described, along with unexpected results.
