Abstract
Method effects associated with negatively (reverse) and positively (regular) keyed items were found on the RSES for both Americans and Canadians. Americans showed larger method effects, on average, than Canadians for both negatively and positively keyed items but only Americans showed stronger method effects for negatively over positively keyed items.
